Im new to this but im looking for a recipe that has small square egg noodles, chopped ham, and there is something else?  I know this is confusing but a friend of mine is desperately trying to find this recipe.  She says its not cabbage and noodles.  So we r stuck can anyone help?  She calls it FLEECHSKI??????  Not sure on the spelling and I know thats not right!

You are correct about the home made noodles cut into squares and the diced up ham .....the only other ingredient is butter and it's all mixed together.  It's a very simple but delicious dish.  You cannot substitute bagged noodles from the store, they must be made fresh.

It's a bohemian dish.  I'm 57 now and my grandmother made it many, many. many tiimes.  It passed on to me, my four brothers and sisters and my daughter too.  My grandmother was the first generation in the US from Bohemia, (now Czechoslovakia). 

PS: you can sub the ham either, you gotta either boil or bake a real ham and chop it up.
