From the super fabulous Catalan Cuisine cookbook that I picked up on a recent trip to Barcelona. Chocolate and cinnamon plus meat are unfamiliar combos for me, but I was quite pleased with how this turned out.
Estofat de Bou would be the Catalan name for this dish.
Literally translated, this means "Cold Dog" in German. It's layers of fat, chocolate, and biscuits, with a few variations with nuts and such. Rachael made this for Christmas. She adds cranberries and/or ginger, as well as drizzles it with white chocolate to make it look more christmas-y.
