A sweet and savoury olive tapenade. The combination of pickled onions and plum jam make it taste like it has been blended with balsamic vinegar.
Combine all ingredients except for olive in food processor or blender. Blend until smooth.
Slowly pour in olive oil while blending on low.
I used pitted brined olives, so didn't add any salt. Depending on what kind of olives you use (and the flavour is pretty much dependent on the quality of the olives – don't use generic black canned olives, use Kalamata or greek olives), you may want to add a little bit of salt to taste.
