Black Bean, Tomato and Feta Sauce

Description

Black beans combined with tomatoes with a jolt of hot sauce, lime and spices.

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Combine olive oil, garlic, black beans, tomatoes, lime zest, Tabasco, oregano, cumin and salt in bowl. Set aside to warm to room temperature (or if you need to move quicker, make sure the bowl is heatproof and place it over the pasta pot like a double boiler and warm the ingredients - or heck, just use a double boiler ;).

2. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain pasta well and immediately add to sauce in bowl. Sprinkle with cilantro and toss.

Notes

  • Serve feta cheese separately in a bowl allowing people to dress their pasta as they wish.
  • Use bowtie, rotelle or some other interesting shaped pasta.

Only ten ingredients...

I would have liked to add an eleventh ingredient, but the template only takes ten... :)

Actually, if you save it (with 10 ingredients) and then hit edit, then you have 10 more fields. Yep, that's an issue...I need to keep a bug log somewhere....

Excellent - you could either remediate it, or in the meantime just provide a note explaining how additional ingredients can be added afterwards.

Another thought: Would the pathauto module make the urls/links more intuitive?
